At Spring Lake we are proud of our Swedish Lutheran heritage. Our congregation celebrated its 140th Anniversary in August of 2014. When you come to visit us you will see a beautiful bell tower next to our church that is a replica of a Swedish bell tower, complete with bell that rings twice a day. Next to the cemetery there is a statue representing the founders of our church.
At Spring Lake we are also proud that we are part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. (ELCA) We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and follow Martin Luther's insights that we need only the Word alone, only Faith alone, and live by God's grace alone. We believe that we are always both saint and sinner and that as God continually blesses us with love and grace, so we are to be a blessing to everyone.
We know that we are far from perfect and even so, God uses us and directs our days and our deeds. If you are looking for a faith home, come and spend a few Sundays with us.You may also want to know that our building is accessible to everyone. We have a lift at one of our entrances and so one can enter the building at ground level and never have to take any stairs.
