This year, 2016, our theme for VBS was, "Under the Sea". We learned how Jesus saved his discipes from the storm, how Jonah learned to follow God, and many other ways in which we experience the love of God in our lives.
The children lined up to both enter and later depart from the church. They looked great in their costumes for the Christmas program.
Lots of children helped make the program so special. They had to learn many songs and they all did a great job.
Our older youth led a children's sermon that featured m&m candy, with an "m" a "3" an "e" and a "w" depending on which way you hold the candy, each with a different meaning.
Seven different stations, for each of the seven days of creations. Lots of children and lots of helpers.
Face painting was one of the stations. God creates each of us individually.
Animal pelts showed some of the variety of life that God creates.
This year we are learning many of the Old Testament stories, like: creation, Noah's Ark, Moses.
This year there are two classes and right now everyone is getting ready for the Christmas Program.
